Avalon Summer Solstice. I am going to do a couple more wee paintings like this for the Solstice this week.

Saturn stationing: as Beloved astro ally Sylvia says: “Saturn -uh-oh- might get something done!"
that we be agents of accountability.
Binding- the harmful, protecting the good….
Imagining the pewter shield of protection, around ourselves…and anyone, anything
in need of safe self-possession...
Whatever we do for ourselves grants us the spiritual muscle tone to do that in the world.
So let’s break some spells, and take new vows...
Tossing old vows that were once a sane assessment of how we, and our ancestors
needed to be-
But then went blub blub blub into the shadowy depths, becoming binding spells,
identifiable, by any chronic (from Chronos- Saturn) kerfuffle in our lives….
Fun to find, but not necessary,
That we simply say, “if there be any vows I may have taken, that were once useful, but are no longer, I toss them into Pluto’s caldron, and ladle out some new, more fun vows….” to contribute our cultivated Liberating Trickster Unique skills to the Community of Creation at this Time of Dire Beauty.
